Sidewalk, Bringing People to You

We understand that privacy online is important to the users of our site (captureimportant.info, “Sidewalk”), especially when conducting business. This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to those users who register to transact business on Sidewalk (“Authorized Customers”) and make use of the various services offered by Sidewalk (collectively, Services) (Authorized Customers).

All data collected by Authorized Customers of the Site is the sole property of said Authorized Customers. Sidewalk will not sell, rent or transfer any data collected by Authorized Customers. Sidewalk will not store any data collected by an Authorized Customer past a 72 hour period after said Authorized Customer lapses in their subscription to Sidewalk. Occasionally, Sidewalk may query and view information collected by Authorized Customers in the ordinary course of business (i.e. debugging purposes).

Sidewalk collects information volunteered by Authorized Customers (i.e. site registration information; such as Email address). This information is not shared, sold, rented or transfered for commercial purposes to any other organizations, unless Sidewalk obtains written express permission from the Authorized Customer.

Information may be shared for the following reasons:

• If it is necessary to investigate any illegal activities.
• Sidewalk’s Terms of Use have been violated
• If Sidewalk is purchased or merged with another company
• As otherwise required by law

In the event Sidewalk is bought or merged with another company, we will inform Authorized Customers immediately that their data will be transferred and/or will be subject to a new privacy policy.

Sidewalk uses cookies, a small amount of data placed on users computers, which contain an unique identifier. Cookies are required for Sidewalk to function, and save the current session while within Sidewalk.

This policy may be updated periodically. We will notify all users of significant changes to this privacy policy and how we handle Authorized Customers data.
